From the Heart: Washington's Newest Senior Care Franchise

We are excited to announce the newest owner of Senior Helpers: Melissa Brown. After a high-powered career at the executive level, Melissa is excited to have found an opportunity that will allow her to be her own boss while spending more time with her children and having a positive impact on her community.

Who Is Melissa Brown?

A resident of Washington, Melissa had an impressive 13-year career as an executive at a technology services company. While at her previous position, she actually worked with a lot of franchises to help them with their payment processing and payroll solutions. With this window into the world of franchising, Melissa had seen so many other people succeed – and she was ready to find that success for herself.

Melissa is a mother of four, plus she is in the process of adopting her two-year-old niece. She is immensely proud of her family and wanted a career opportunity that would give her the flexibility and freedom to spend more time with them while still maintaining a fulfilling work-life balance.

Why Did Melissa Make a Career Change?

As much as Melissa enjoyed her time in the corporate world, she was tired of the “boys club” mentality, inequality, and ambiguous leadership that she came across all too often. She felt frustrated by the discrimination and restrictions that she experienced, and she wanted to make her dream of running a business a reality – without all of that getting in the way.

In her new career as an owner of Senior Helpers, Melissa is excited to create a fair, diverse work environment built on trust and communication. Senior Helpers is also a heart-driven company, and as someone who is dedicated to helping others, their mission resonated deeply with Melissa.

Why Will Melissa Make a Great Franchise Owner?

Melissa truly loves all aspects of running a business, and her robust experience in the corporate world will certainly help her out. But above all, she is drawn to the Senior Helpers' mission and the impact that her new business will have on her community.

In the words of FranCoach’s Krista Lowe, who helped Melissa find this opportunity, “She has a huge heart for people and for helping people. With senior care, you are taking the care into the home so people get to be at home and comfortable for as long as possible.” Melissa feels connected to that vision and is certain to be an excellent steward of the Senior Helpers brand.

Why Did Melissa Choose Senior Helpers?

Senior Helpers is one of the leading brands in the senior care industry, offering a proven, highly scalable model that has helped many franchisees succeed – in a big way. The business pairs an opportunity to make a difference in the community with strong revenue potential and a long history of success.

With its reliable business model and Melissa’s connection to its heart-driven mission, Senior Helpers was a no-brainer. Melissa especially loves that Senior Helpers has a positive community impact in every aspect of the business – in addition to providing in-home care for seniors, it creates many job opportunities in the area. She is thrilled to be at the helm of this business and gain the freedom and flexibility she has been dreaming of.

Please join our team at FranCoach in congratulating Melissa Brown and wishing her luck as the newest owner of Senior Helpers!
