An architect and an accountant by trade, Daren and Stephanie are thrilled about the prospect of expanding their income streams and creating a legacy for their son. With lots of experience in project management, Daren is always ready to take on a new adventure. 

Who Is Daren Patterson?

Daren began his career as an architect and holds a Master’s in Architecture. Since then, he has transitioned to work in IT and project management in the health sector. Daren also holds a PMP certification, which stands for Project Management Professional – the gold standard in the industry.

As a project manager, Daren has been involved in and enjoys all phases of projects from conceptualization and initiation to post-completion monitoring and maintenance. These days, he is looking to leverage his experience in that field in order to further his personal goals and desires by owning a franchise. 

Why Did Daren Make a Career Change?

Unlike many of our clients at FranCoach, Daren still finds his “day job” fulfilling – and he will be keeping it even as a brand-new owner of The Grounds Guys. His wife Stephanie will also be holding onto her position as an accountant. Daren is not making a career change as much as he is making a career addition.

Daren saw franchising ownership as an opportunity to create an additional revenue stream for his family. He and Stephanie are excited to generate more income together so that they can enjoy the lifestyle they’ve been dreaming of. The couple is also dedicated to creating a legacy that they can pass down to their son.

With years of experience in project management and his career in a comfortable place, Daren did not want to just sit around and enjoy the status quo. He knew he could do more, which led him to FranCoach.
