We are excited to announce the newest owner of Home Clean Heroes: Ryan Day. A young, entrepreneurial realtor looking to diversify his portfolio, Ryan is excited to expand his footprint in the home services industry with the help of his mom, Barbara. Recently retired from her job with the federal government, Barbara is thrilled about the prospect of collaborating with her son on this business venture. This team is sure to make waves!
After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business management, Ryan began a successful career in real estate. In fact, he’s sold 28 homes in his first year of being a real estate agent – if that’s not success, we don’t know what is! Ryan firmly believes that everyone deserves to be as happy as possible in their lives. In his words, “when you are dedicating eight to ten hours a day to a job, it shouldn’t feel like a major chore.”
Although Ryan loves his real estate job, he is always thinking about his next step and never wants to feel like he’s doing the same thing all the time. That brought him to the idea of franchise ownership, a project he decided to take on in tandem with his mother. After listening to a few episodes of the Franchising 101 Podcast, Ryan decided to reach out to our FranCoach team for help finding the right franchise.
Unlike many of our clients at FranCoach, Ryan is not making a career change, per se. He’ll still be working as a realtor as he enjoys his current position. But his interest in home services drew him to Home Clean Heroes, and he sees franchise ownership as an exciting way to create a strong second revenue stream.
That’s where Barbara comes in – Ryan will be working with his mother, who will co-own the franchise with him. She will be managing some of the day-to-day operations so that Ryan can take on the role of a semi-absentee franchise owner and continue to succeed in the field of real estate. The dynamic duo is thrilled to take on this project and see what they can accomplish together.
Ryan and Barbara are determined to succeed with their new franchise, and they’re excited to follow the franchisor’s plan and proven model to do so. The two of them make a great team, and their combined skill sets are a huge asset. But it’s not just talent that’s backing them up. Here’s what Tim Parmeter, founder and CEO of FranCoach, has to say about this mother-and-son pair:
“Ryan and Barbara were amazing to work with, and it was a pleasure to get to know them. They are both incredibly talented and driven individuals, but they are even better people. I am confident they will build a successful business and make a huge impact on their staff, customers, and the community.”
Home Clean Heroes is a residential cleaning company that aims to disrupt the field, setting a new standard for excellence. Operating in a lucrative $6 billion industry, Home Clean Heroes offers franchise owners numerous benefits including a recurring revenue model, protected territories, affordable startup costs, an in-demand product, and a flexible work schedule. Plus, they’re a mission-driven franchise that gives back to local first responders.
With an existing interest in home services, Ryan and Barbara feel that Home Clean Heroes is a perfect fit. They like the fact that their roles go far beyond just cleaning houses and providing an important service – they are also making a difference and an impact in their community. Ryan and Barbara are excited to take on this new adventure together!
