He is excited to bring Hammer & Nails to the Raleigh-Durham area. 

Who Is Bilal Parviz?

Bilal is proud of his long-time career in the mortgage industry, but over time, he found himself growing frustrated with the lack of growth opportunities in the corporate world. That frustration pulled him in the direction of franchising, and he grew excited about the chance to build something of his own and gain the independence he had been craving.

Why Did Bilal Make a Career Change?

When Bilal first came to us at FranCoach, he was primarily interested in food-related franchises. He had looked into businesses in the sandwich and coffee areas but hadn’t quite found the right fit. We connected Bilal with food-based franchisors, but we also encouraged him to explore options outside of that category.

Bilal went into the process with an open mind, and as he began gleaning more and more information about each franchisor, he quickly decided that the food space was actually not for him. That brought him to Hammer & Nails, an upscale men’s grooming franchise. In order to gain some context, Bilal and some of his friends visited a Hammer & Nails location in Ohio – and they immediately fell in love.

Bilal is excited that he gets to be first to market in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area, otherwise known as North Carolina’s “Research Triangle.” Down the line, he is looking to scale his businesses to own three Hammer & Nails locations.
