Chris Tayson spent over 25 years as a dedicated and decorated deputy sheriff in the Twin Cities, MN area. Since retiring from law enforcement, he knew that it was time to pursue his dream of owning a business. The trick, of course, was finding the right one.
Start With Funding First
Chris started his franchising process differently than most FranCoach clients. He actually started with research on funding first, having connected with one of the preeminent franchise funding companies – Guidant Financial – to learn about his options and investment ranges. Once Chris realized he would have multiple funding options available through Guidant, he reached out to FranCoach to find the right franchise. The Franchise Process Wins Again
The FranCoach process helped uncover what would be the ideal owner role and business model to meet Chris’s skills and core values. After vetting 3 franchisors, the best fit ultimately became clear because he really liked the idea of a fast-casual brand that would be relatively new to his area. Additionally, it was important to find a franchise with a culture that appealed to Chris’ family values. The franchise that was ultimately the best match for Chris was Teriyaki Madness.Who is Teriyaki Madness?
Teriyaki Madness is a fast-casual restaurant concept serving up quality fresh, healthy, and flavorful Asian food in a hip atmosphere. Teriyaki Madness is a rapidly growing brand due to their great food and impressive year over year growth. Chris and the Teriyaki Madness team are already scouting locations in St. Paul, MN with sights set on opening late in 2018.Congratulations to Chris, and thanks to Teriyaki Madness and Guidant Financial for their great teamwork. All of us at FranCoach know where we are eating next time we are in the Twin Cities!
