Rick saw FranCoach's Side Gig blog which discussed the benefits of a Semi-Absentee owner role and he immediately wanted to know more. The FranCoach team took Rick through the Discovery Process vetting out three potential options. Early on, all three seemed as if they could be great potential fits. However, like it always does, the Discovery Process eventually identified the perfect match for Rick and his wife. That fit was The Exercise Coach.
The Exercise Coach is a boutique fitness concept that offers personal training that is particularly appealing to people over 50 but also attractive to folks who need to become more fit yet have resisted joining a traditional gym or have failed when they tried that approach. Rick was incredibly thorough in his diligence with the FranCoach team which led to him and his wife attending Discovery Day for The Exercise Coach.
Rick and Brenda were blown away by the entire franchise team, their leadership, the support structure, and their culture. The Exercise Coach loved Rick and Brenda's passion for the business and their complimentary ownership skills. Ultimately the Frembgen's agreed to a three-unit development agreement with The Exercise Coach. They will open two in the Memphis, TN area and with the third in the Destin, FL area.
